Energy and Housing Commissioner Dan Jørgensen responded positively to the four consecutive questions he had asked to Commission The New Democracy MEP Georgeregarding addressing the housing crisis.

The Commissioner in his answer stresses, that:

A) The Commission will submit a European plan for an affordable roof.

B) In cooperation with the European Investment Bank will establish an investment platform for sustainable housing.

(C) It will enable Member States to increase their investment in the housing market, doubling the already scheduled investment for the roof.

D) Strengthens its cooperation with national development banks, emphasizing the support of young and young families.

G. Autias as a member of the Housing Committee, has made the problems that young couples, young people and economically vulnerable to Greece and European Union countries face. At the same time, it highlighted the seriousness of the problem, stressing that it is a duty of all of us to secure a financially affordable home for every Greek and European citizen.

Commissioner’s answers are as follows:

1. The Commission will submit a proposal that will give Member States the opportunity to channel liquidity to the housing market and to double the planned investment of cohesion policy into affordable housing.

2. The Commission will submit a European Economically Affordable Plan, with the aim of tackling the decoration agents for the purpose of tackling the structural factors of the housing crisis in terms of both the demand for economically affordable housing and its supply.

3. It will work with the European Investment Bank to create a pan -European investment platform for affordable and sustainable roof.

4. It will submit a European Economically Affordable Plan, with the aim of tackling the inter -fascinating agents that exacerbate the housing crisis.

5. It will strengthen its partnerships with national development banks to ensure that housing is accessible especially to young people and young families.
