The New Democracy MEP George with his question to European Commissionraises the huge problem that the SMEs by funding from European institutions.

This unfair treatment must be lifted, the Greek MEP stresses, as the small and medium -sized business in Greece and Europe is the basis of local and national economies.

G. Eytia’s question is as follows:

It is a common belief that the support of small and medium -sized enterprises (SMEs) is crucial to the development of all economies, as they are the heart of the economy of each country.

In recent years there has been a detour of small and medium -sized enterprises from European funding. Because small businesses are essentially excluded from the necessary funding, which is also the basis of their development process and their own survival, the European Commission is asked if this completely unfair treatment will expire so that small and medium -sized enterprises will be treated equal treatment in funding.

All European economies and Greece are based on small and medium -sized entrepreneurship.

Based on these data, the merchants of Greece and the Athens Chamber of Commerce, which represents hundreds of thousands of members, ask the European Commission:

1. Will this adverse treatment between large and small businesses be removed?

2. Will traders equal to equal participation in funding and development processes as given in other businesses?

3. How do you intend to intervene as the new conditions created in global entrepreneurship require your immediate support for addressing this issue?
