The career days of kariera.gr, the largest HUB for employment in Thessaloniki, on April 4 and 5, were successfully completed, with a record of participation, with more than 2,300 candidates at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition and Conference Center (TES).

The event, held under the auspices of the Region of Central Macedonia and the Municipality of Thessaloniki, brought dozens of companies and young professionals looking for the next step in their careers.

The attendance of the public, the interest of companies and the active participation of all visitors during the event have highlighted for another year the essential role played by career days in enhancing the connection of candidates and employers.

With more than 21,000 short work interviews, interested parties contacted 40 leading companies and organizations that are actively hiring, discovering opportunities for new partnerships.

Connecting candidates to the labor market

Participants had the opportunity to discover new jobs, network with other professionals, receive guidance to form their resume through career counseling, as well as attend interesting speeches and workshops aimed at professional development and skills.

At the same time, the specially designed Youth Corner, young people and young people were informed by youth organizations on Erasmus programs, voluntary actions and other prospects of professional development.

Employers and representatives of companies participating in the event were able to enhance their Employer Branding, consolidate their presence in the Thessaloniki market, discover hundreds of new talents through the process of personal interviews, and participate in workshops and panels.
