The surprise raids of the Auditors of the Independent Public Revenue Authority on the market continue, with the aim of identifying and imposing fines and sanctions on businesses.

The main feature of the checks is that – in their overwhelming majority – they are carried out by auditors coming from the DOU of other areas.

Padlocks for non -issuing evidence

At a well -known all -day cafe bar in the northern suburbs, the check found that no at least 15 receipts had been issued, resulting in a fine and a padlock for two days.

The same sentences were also imposed at a fish tavern in Lavrio, which was found to have issued 12 evidence.

Fines for non -interconnection

One of the most well -known catering companies in Monastiraki, who maintains two separate stores, had not connected 8 POSs to each of them. The fine is 40,000 euros – twenty thousand per store.

Catering Multipurpose, also in Monastiraki, was found not to have 3 POS interconnected. A fine of 20,000 euros.

In a well -known restaurant on the coastal avenue, the auditors used a complaint and found that, in addition to issuing two evidence, the operation had not connected the POS with the cash. A fine of 10,000 euros.

In all businesses, control continues in depth, both elements and years.
