‘Fatal Beauty’ was inspired by my soap opera to succeed, says blogger

The influencer Blogueirinha, a character created and played by Bruno Matos since 2016, has won the audience with her acid humor and always direct answers. With over 6 million followers on social networks, she anticipates news from the second season of “Blogueirinha, the Ugly” and does not hide her pride for her impact.

“When I created the story, I already knew I was going to change the Brazilian audiovisual. Other soap operas came later, using the strength of the internet, and they are there to prove that they surfed in the wave of what I had done before,” he says in an interview with F5. To use an example, he cites Max’s success of “Fatal Beauty”: “He was inspired by my soap opera to succeed.”

The production, launched in 2023 by Diatv, was conceived as a modern parody of the classic “Betty, the Ugly” and quickly conquered the audience with its mocking language, caricature aesthetics and exaggerated situations. “Since everything I do they like, I am not very concerned about the risks,” he says, noting that the project was first approved by followers and team.

Despite having writers and a support team, she, who was the great champion of the F5 2024 award – closed the categories creation of online content, humorist of the year and mood production, precisely by ‘blogger, the ugly’ – makes sure that the central ideas depart from her.

“I send everything, they organize and put it in place,” he explains. What surprised, according to her, was the repercussion between new audiences, especially in Tiktok. “The engagement that broke barriers between the platforms was what made me happy most.”

The new season, which is already under development, will bring important changes. Among them, the name of the soap opera will change, new characters will integrate the cast and an unprecedented core will be presented. “There will be a little more suspense, more action and baladded scenarios too,” he anticipates. Records should start later this week.

To warm up the fans, a special animated episode will be released on Sunday (20), with about 20 minutes. The content was produced by Fábio Leite and will summarize the main events of the first season. “We focused on the main characters and changed the end a little,” he reveals.

Amid so many projects, including the front program with Blogueirinha, she claims to be used to criticism and the ups and downs on the internet. “It’s many years of ‘haters’. I’ve understood that I won’t get it right all the time, as much as it seems.”

Recently, the influencer published a video showing the rooms of her new home, still in the finalization phase. Although she has not yet changed, she says she is excited about the apartment’s renovation.

“I am one of the last women on the internet to conquer a real home. The house really is mine. It is not the same as many that rent and says they are theirs,” he says, without false modesty – effective, blogger is not that.
