Another channel: with less than a month in the air, ‘Vale Tudo’ surpasses ‘Mania de you’ in revenues at Globo

The remake of “Vale Tudo” is already considered a success at Globo. Even though the audience in Sao Paulo does not yet excite, Manuela Dias’s plot fell in favor of the advertising market quickly.

According to the column, with all commercial sales, planned merchandising actions and intervals sold, production has already surpassed its predecessor, “Mania de Você”, in financial collection.

Before the premiere, “Vale Tudo” already had 60 commercial actions closed to display throughout the soap opera. Because of the good repercussion, new brands sought Globo to negotiate exhibition while the plot is in the air. Since “Pantanal” (2022) there was not so much acceptance in the market.

Two reasons explain the interest. The soap opera brought an increase of 15% audience in class AB, the highest purchasing power, with the purchase potential of the advertised products.

In addition, “Vale Tudo” was the most viewed TV show in the age group composed of teenagers, surpassing auditorium attractions and morning programs, since the day its first chapter aired.

In Greater São Paulo, Brazil’s main television market and a reference for investments in the advertising market, there was a growth of 33% of young audiences compared to the “mania of you”.

“Vale Tudo” is also going well at Globoplay, Globo’s streaming service. Since the last 31st, the soap opera has been the most consumed on demand content since its platform debut.

Remake’s good performance also boosted the original version of the soap opera, produced in 1988. The production was among the five most consumed soap operas this last week in the company’s service.

Throughout the month, Globo’s expectation is that the soap opera won more spectators, especially in the last week of April, when Odete Roitman (Debora Bloch), the great villain of the plot.

“Vale Tudo” only ends in October, when it will be succeeded by “Three Graces”, a soap opera that marks Aguinaldo Silva’s return to Globo.
