The conference “AI in practice: How to implement artificial intelligence in our businesses” was held on Monday. It is one of the most targeted initiatives to promote AI practices in the Greek business world to date.

The conference attracted strong interest from BSE members, with the participation of more than 1,000 business executives. BSE member businesses presented real examples of AI applications in their operational processes, highlighting opportunities, challenges and conditions for successful integration.

Opening the Congress, the Chairman of the Board of Directors BSE Spyros Theodoropoulos stressed that “regardless of the level of information of every business about artificial intelligence, it is now a common belief that it will decisively affect the lives of all of us in the future and will be a critical factor in enhancing competitiveness. Greek companies are starting to adopt TN, but they must accelerate and invest in the necessary resources and skills. “

The conference was attended by speakers from 35 companies, organizations and startups, all of the Early Adopters, who highlighted not only the significant benefits from the utilization of the AI, but also the importance of dialogue and exchange of know -how that would enhance understanding and confidence around the use of Greek businesses.

Specifically, Practical Applications of AS in many and critical dimensions of business operations such as productivity, labor efficiency, supply chain, marketing and sales, customer service, talent management, preventive maintenance, product research & development management, energy management and financial management. Special panels and case studies have highlighted how the work redefines workplaces, accelerates decision making, optimizes internal processes, enhances competitiveness and supports the sustainable development of businesses. At the same time, the terms of success for the mass adoption of AD, the skills required in the near future, as well as the strategic importance of technological readiness of Greek businesses, were analyzed.

This year’s BSE’s “Businesspulse Business Pulse” research has had a special section for AE which confirms the need to accelerate its exploitation as a factor in enhancing business competitiveness. More specifically:

Only 25.4% of businesses say they have even some experience or contact with artificial intelligence (AI). The rest have either not started (18.5%) or plan no action for the following year (55.1%).

In relation to the readiness of the human resources to meet the needs of the business in the next 3 years:

At the Congress and in the context of BSE’s strategy to promote artificial intelligence and the cultivation of digital skills in Greek businesses, the launch of the new AI Bootcamp implemented by BSE, in collaboration with the Alba Graduate Business School, was announced. It is a 20-hour program that starts immediately, and is aimed at non-technical business executives of the Association, which will lead a Genai business transformation program. The program is aimed at:

  • understanding the basic concepts of Generic AI,
  • the development and evaluation of use Cases with operational value, and
  • the diffusion of knowledge within their body.

BSE is already implementing the “ru ai?” Initiative? to promote artificial intelligence in Greek businesses.
