The chain of furniture and decoration stores Etna announced this Friday (25) that it is ending its activities and promoting a sale to burn stock.
In operation since 2004, the chain has four physical stores and an e-commerce platform. The closing of the units will be done gradually until the end of the first half of this year, with the exception of Etna Berrini, located in the capital of São Paulo, which will continue selling until stocks are exhausted, as well as the company’s website.
“Etna belongs to a successful retail business group and will discontinue its operations in the best possible way, fulfilling all its commitments to its employees, customers, suppliers and service providers”, says the chain.
With difficulties in acting in the face of online competition, Etna was in a series of unit closures in the country.
In 2020, it announced the closing of stores in Campo Grande (MS) and Belo Horizonte (MG).
In 2021, it ended the operation of physical stores in the Northeast, leaving Recife (PE), Fortaleza (CE) and Salvador (BA).
Today, it has units only in the state of São Paulo and the Federal District.
Along with the closing announcement, the network also announced aggressive promotions, which offer up to 90% off, on its website. Prices are only valid for products sold and delivered by Etna and there is no right to exchange.
