By December 31, the 190 drivers recruited to OASTH were renewed with fixed -term employment contracts. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has in time for the relevant legislation, giving the “green light” to renew contracts, which expired on June 30.
It is recalled that these are private law contracts for a fixed time of specialty drivers, who were hired by OASTH in two different phases, with the first contracts concerning 150 guides and the second extra 40.
Renewals do not change the character of private law of a fixed -term employment relationship, under which those employed in these positions were hired.
“In time, the contracts of our 190 drivers were renewed, which have a fixed -term employment relationship with the organization. Therefore, we can best design and implement the transport project for both summer and much more the winter program, since September ’25 »says OASTH President and CEO Costas Tagiris.
He himself underlines: “The good news does not stop there. Next time, there will be invitationto professional drivers, to participate in a competition, through ASEP, in order to hire more drivers. “
