They continued in May this year as a whole, as their prices rose 3.1%, despite the new major decline in oil price, according to ELSTAT.

Specifically, ratings were recorded in: electricity (18%), radiators (7.3%), plastic pipes (7.2%), bricks (5.4%), bronze pipes (5.4%), aluminum windows (4.8%), switches (4.5%), concrete (3.8%), marble (3.7%), plastic pipes, synthetic, fiber (3.7%), general-floor, wall (3.6%), plastic, acrylic, water (3.4%), parquet (3.4%) and cement (2.8%).

In contrast, prices were reduced to: Iron of reinforcement (0.9%) and diesel diesel (8.7%).

As announced by ELSTAT, the General Index of Materials Price of Materials of New Buildings increased 3.1% in May 2025 compared to the May 2024 index compared to the May 2024, compared to the 5.5% increase in comparison of the respective indicators in 2024 to 2023.

At the same time, the General Index increased 0.3% in May 2025 compared to the April 2025 index, compared to 0.5% in comparison of the corresponding months of 2024.
