British King Charles invited US President Donald Trump for an official visit later over time, as Buckingham palaces confirmed today.

Trump accepted Charles’ invitation for a second official visit – probably in September according to the BBC – making the US president the first elected political leader in modern times he received a two -time invitation from a British monarch for official visit.

“The same excellence has been aware of President Trump for many years and is looking forward to welcoming him with the First Lady later in the year,” a spokesman for the palace said.

However, Britain has not set the time of the visit, an event that will “praise the close ties of the two countries” and will be characterized by brilliance and majesty.

Last week, an official invitation (“Manu Regia”), which symbolizes the start of the official planning of the visit, was handed over by British representatives to the White House and is expected to follow the confirmation of its exact date.

“I am a friend of Charles, I have great respect for King Charles and his family, we have a lot of respect for the family. I think they set a date for September, “Trump himself said in April.
Official visits to Britain usually include a carriage to Central London and a luxurious official dinner.

However, traditionally, for US presidents in a second term there is no state visit. Instead they are called for tea or lunch with the monarch at the Windsor Castle.

King Charles’ letter suggested a meeting to discuss the details of the visit to either Dumfries House or Balmoral, both in Scotland, an area with which Trump has professional links.

The … failed Trump – Elizabeth meetings

Trump, during his first term, was received twice by Queen Elizabeth in the United Kingdom.

The first in the context of a July 2018 job trip for tea in Windsor, where the US president broke each protocol by setting up the elderly queen for ten whole minutes in the heat before overtaking it during the inspection of the honorary stake.

The second time was in the context of Trump’s three -day official visit with his wife Melania in Britain in June 2019.
