The Independent Labor Inspectorate, in the context of upgrading its role as a guardian of the legality in the labor market, is implementing a sophisticated Business Intelligence system in its regional addresses.

This system has the ability to reveal any violations arising from the use of the digital work card, as well as violations related to other provisions of the regulatory framework, such as the payment of the minimum wage. The use of the BI system in no way removes on -the -spot control. On the contrary, it works in conjunction to ensure that the legality is complied with for the benefit of both the employee and the employer who operates in a lawful and is affected by unfair competition.

“As an Independent Labor Inspectorate, we believe that all businesses, whose sectors have been subject to the digital work card system, will comply with the current regulatory framework, so that employees, employers and control mechanism can contribute jointly, not only to a labor market that operates with rules,” Tzilivakis.
