Approaching the culmination of the tourist season or Independent Labor Inspectorateactivates a new control system of the so -called Business Intelligence (VI), which has the ability to reveal any violations resulting from the use of the digital work card. It may also detect the “bad” employers who pay less money than the minimum wage to their employees or other violations related to the regulatory framework.

And, of course, all this makes sense if it results in, in the sense that the “bad” employer, after imposing a fine, will comply and do not repeat the same offensive behavior again and again.

How will the… “bad” employers be found

In any case, Business Intelligence – which analyzes the data of each business – will be implemented, to the Regional Directorates of the Independent Authority throughout the territory.

Of course, the use of the BI system in no way removes on -the -spot checks, but there is also a framework for remote controls. The Risk Analysis System of AAEE, set up 15 years ago, is upgraded to make it possible for the best possible control process with the physical presence of inspectors in the workplaces and remotely.

On this basis, the targeting is becoming more and more specialized, with the cooperation of other services, such as the Information System (MS) “Ergani”.

Its upgrading to “Ergani II” It is estimated that it will help with the highest quality selection of businesses to be controlled.

Central target The checks are their efficiency to exceed the 25% that were up to 70%, at an ideal level.

At this stage is the management of the expansion of the digital card to tourism and catering, which has launched in March, with businesses located without being integrated into the real -time timing system to enter the forefront of the audits.

The use of drones for security on construction sites

The next “weapon” that the Independent Authority will take advantage of is the… drones to more fully control the health and safety conditions in the workplaces: already, the first 10 drones They have been omitted by the competent services and the training begins at least 20 inspectors.

Their use is related to the rapid increase in accidents at work, as it has been estimated that many of them could have been avoided if the control over health and safety conditions in the employment was more efficient. In this field, the use of drones is estimated to help overall the check process.

Target It is in the summer that the process has been completed and the checks are started, which will first focus on large construction sites (eg road construction projects, constructions).
The administration of the Independent Labor Inspectorate (AEEE) has already received a relevant know -how from other countries following a similar audit procedure. If the venture is positive, then the intentions of AEEE are to buy at least 20 drones.

This practically means that the field of inspectors’ training will be expanded, in order to acquire this particular skill of 40 of them.

After all, having five regional departments across the country, the Labor Inspectorate wants to give the opportunity to have the best possible supervision of all the major construction sites in their area of responsibility.
