A few days of time have the unemployed who wish to “set up” their own business to claim 14,800 euros, which will allow them to stand on their feet and take their first steps as professionals. Applications for the 3rd Circle of the relevant DBA program is ongoing, however the time limits are narrowed. If the business plan called to submit any unemployed to submit, it will receive a grant for 1 year.

The deadline for submitting applications for the unemployed entrepreneurship program that will grant with 14,800 euros to create new businesses ends on Friday, July 18th. The 3rd cycle of the program concerns the Regional Units of Kastoria, Achaia, Serres, Rhodes and the Municipalities of Perama, Keratsini – Drapetsona and Salamis.

Who are the beneficiaries of the program

By joining the program, interested parties will receive a grant for 12 months, starting at the date of starting business. The amount of reinforcement of each new business amounts to EUR 14,800 and is paid in three installments as follows:

1st installment of 4,000 euros: After the start of activity

2nd dose of 5,400 euros: After the end of the first semester

3rd installment of EUR 5,400: After the end of the second semester.

The action is aimed at 850 unemployed by the Regional Units of Kastoria, Achaia, Serres, Rhodes and the Municipalities of Perama, Keratsini – Drapetsona and Salamis, 18-60 years old and aims to promote entrepreneurship through the creation of new businesses in the 5 eligible areas.

Beneficiaries are unemployed for the Regional Units of Kastoria, Achaia, Serres, Rhodes and the Municipalities of Perama, Keratsini – Drapetsona and Salamis, registered with the DABA digital register who at the application:

He is 18 to 60 years old.

Have agreed to a digital individual action plan.

They will establish a business and will be active in the eligible areas of the action.

They are ‘Greek citizens or citizens of other EU states or expatriates who have the right to stay and work in our country or citizens of third countries who have a residence permit in force at least for as long as the program lasts.

They have attended Business Initiative Counseling Program (SAEP).

Have fulfilled or legally exempt from their military obligations (male candidates).

The procedure and supporting documents for submitting the application

Applications are comparatively evaluated and presented by DBA.

Within 60 days of the pre-approval, potential beneficiaries shall commence activity and submit an additional application with the details of their business at the Single Digital Portal of the Public Administration (Gov.gr-EFS), and in particular, to the Association:

A funding approval decision is issued and the implementation of the program begins.

The supporting documents required are:

Responsible statement of Law 1599/1986 stating that: (a) the business they create will not have the same activity as a business operating in the same area by another professional within the last six months before the date of starting work of the new business; (b) the business will not be created after a new business or elsewhere with the same object of activity and (c) business activities do not fall into the exempted object of the Regulation (EU) 2023/2831

Certificate of recruitment status (for male candidates). The expatriate or citizens of EU countries are attaching an electronically responsible statement that they have no obligation to fulfill their military obligations, without the need to provide a relevant certificate of the country of origin.

Responsible statements shall be submitted confirmed by the genuine signature by the CCP or other competent authority or through the Portal (Gov.gr).
