The fourth meeting of the Inter -Ministerial Committee on Strategic Investment for 2025 was convened by Minister of Development Takis Theodorikakos on Tuesday. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister Kostis Hatzidakis, the Minister of Environment and Energy Stavros Papastavrou, the Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Haris Theocharis, the Secretary General of Private Investment Stellina Siarakis and the Secretary General

Approved four investment plans total budget of 290 million euros in industry and tourism, which is projected to create 316 new jobs.

The investment plans approved by the TEE are the following:

  • Increasing the capacity of yogurt and ice cream production units of the “Kri Kri” dairy industry under the distinctive title “Greek Yogurt Dynamo”, with a budget of € 52.2 million, with the aim of improving efficiency and sustainable development. They include the introduction of innovative technologies, the installation of modern machinery, automated boxing lines, new storage tanks and pasteurizing machines, as well as the introduction of equipment cleaning technologies, the upgrading of electrical and refrigerant systems.
  • Extension of Fulgor’s existing production capacity – Hellenic Electric Cable Company SA In Sousaki Corinth, a budget of € 76.49 million. The aim is to increase the capacity and to expand the production of underwater overnight voltage cables by 200 km/year, through the construction of new installations and the supply of new mechanical equipment.
  • Construction of Integrated Tourism Development entitled “Phaea – South Crete: Integrated Tourism Development Plan” by Myrina Village Tourist Tourist and Hotel Businesses SA, at “Skouros”, on the south coast of the Municipality of Viannos, in Heraklion, Crete, 121.11 million. The complex will include 140 rooms and 30 tourist houses.
  • Manufacture of energy autonomous tourism development called Diaporos Green Retreat at the “Korakia” site of the island of Diaporos in Halkidiki, budget of € 41.7 million. The complex will include 13 ground floor rooms – villas and 13 two -storey Bangalo (76 rooms in total), which will be combined with a central building.
