The Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanassis, announced the completion of the evaluation of the proposals submitted in the context of the two invitations for the funding of big business investment plans in the Municipality of Megalopolis, with a total budget of 60m euros through the General EUR.
The total grant from the fair development program is € 99.6 million and is expected to create 541 new jobs in the Municipality of Megalopolis.
These are cutting -edge investments that boost sustainable development and contribute to the smooth energy transition of the local economy.
Specifically, 6 applications were submitted by large companies (1 existing and 5 new/recommendation), totaling € 210.5 million. The evaluation was completed with the approval of all proposals.
Of the existing businesses, the Kiefer Energy Constructions Investments SA investment plan was approved for the creation of a data center totaling 2,820 square meters and 5MW capacity. The subsidized budget amounts to EUR 39.8 million, of which 19.9 million is funding from the DAM program, with the creation of 100 new jobs.
Five investment plans were approved by the new or set up businesses. Enercellis SA will create a new industrial unit of construction of state -of -the -art 32 acres, with a budget of 37.86 million euros and a grant of 18.68 million, leading to the creation of 91 jobs.
GNWSIS DATA CENTER SOLUTIONS will also establish a database of the same surface and power with a subsidized budget of € 39.8 million and a grant of 19.9 million, creating 100 jobs.
Eunice Bright Data SA will also be implemented by a 5MW colocation data center, with a total budget of 30.1 million euros and funding of 15.1 million, also with a forecast for 100 new jobs.
MEDIAKAKA Fertilizers SA will create a standard 3,600 -square -meter ornamental or nitrogen -free use and nitrogen pollution unit, with a subsidized budget of 12.8 million euros and a grant of € 33 million.
Finally, IFestos Bess SA will set up energy storage plant with lithium -ion batteries, with a total budget of € 39.7 million and funding € 19.73 million, which will create 117 new jobs.
