A 754,325 persons amounted to the total of the registered unemployed in the Public Employment Service Register (DBA) in June 2025, recording a reduction of 58,633 (-7.2%) compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, June 2024 and an increase of 13,319 (+1.8%).

In addition, the number of subsidies for June 2025 amounted to 96,636 persons recording a reduction of -8,738 (-8.3%) compared to the corresponding month of June 2024 and a decrease of -30,097 (-23.7%) compared to the previous month 2025.

According to the statistics of the registered Unemployment of the DBA, of the total of 754,325 people, 424,867 (56.3%) are registered in the DBA register for a period of equal or more than 12 months and 329,458 (43.7%) registered in the register of the West of 12 months.

Men amount to 240,397 people (31.9%) and women amount to 513,928 (68.1%).

The 30-44-year-old age category concentrates on the largest number of age categories, which amounts to 235,764 (31.3%).

The Secondary Education Educational Station concentrates the highest number of educational levels, which is 346,613 (46.0%).

Among the regions of the country, the Attica Region and the Region of Central Macedonia record the largest number of registered, which amounts to 263,873 (35.0%) and 152,113 (20.2%) respectively.

The total of subsidized unemployed for June 2025, (concerning the number of beneficiaries paid within the corresponding month) is 96,636, of which 88,209 (91.3%) are common unemployed and other categories of subsidized unemployed and 8,427 (8.7%) are 8.7%. Men are 40,424 (41.8%) and women at 56,212 (58.2%).

Of the total subsidized unemployed 84,870 (87.8%) are common, 1,963 (2.0%) are builders, 8,427 (8.7%) are seasonal tourism professions, 880 (0.9%) are seasonal (agricultural), 437 (0.5%) and 59%(0.5%) (0.5%).
