Caixa Econômica Federal and Banco do Brasil today pay the last batch of the PIS/Pasep salary allowance for 2022. The benefit being released is based on the year 2020. In all, 3.2 million workers will have the deposit of the allowance, which adds up to R$ 3.024 billion paid.
Today, professionals from the private sector, born in December, who were already part of the usual payment schedule released this year, receive PIS. The final lot of the PIS/Pasep review made by Dataprev (a government technology company) will also be paid to those who were left out of the initial phase due to data inconsistency.
In the case of the extra revision batch, the allowance will be released to private sector workers (PIS) born between July and December and to public servants (Pasep) with registration number ending between 6 and 9. In all cases, however, the withdrawal of values will be available until December 29 of this year.
Employees of companies and civil servants who worked at least 30 days with a formal contract in the base year of 2020 are entitled to the benefit, receiving, on average, two minimum wages. It is also necessary to be enrolled in PIS/Pasep for at least five years and to have the data correctly reported to the government by the employer.
