All investors’ looks are on Jackson Hall, where the president of the US Federal Bank (Fed), Jerome Powell, spoke Friday.

Investors have reinforced bets to reduce the US Federal Bank’s interest rates next month, following the Fed president’s statement that monetary policy may require adjustment, given the change in risk balance, Reuters notes.

Investors now estimate that the chance of reducing Fed interest rates in September is almost 90%, compared to about 75% before Powell’s statements.

Investors were expecting Powell’s speech at the mountain resort, looking for evidence of interest rates, first this year in September. The Fed president has been under intense pressure from the Trump government to reduce borrowing costs, according to the Wall Street Journal.

US brokerage indicators continued to make profits on Friday, following the report by the US Federal Bank’s president, to a possible interest rates at the next Central Bank meeting in a speech at Jackson Hole Symposium.
