More than 400 non -issuing tax offenses were found during checks of Independent Public Revenue Authority to tourist destinations.

As stated in AADE announcement:

* In Rhodes, 306 beer boxes were found in a wholesale and retailement operation without intended evidence, while non -issued documents corresponding to 285 bottles, worth almost 7,000 euros. At the same time, a restaurant, a marine toy business and an ice cream store found the non -issuance of a total of almost 90 documents worth more than 6,000 euros.

* In Paros, a well -known restaurant did not issue 3 documents worth more than 1,800 euros.

* In Chania, a barbecue and a lease of umbrella seeds, a total of 49 non -issued documents were found.

* In Hydra, two café-bar checks revealed 45 non-issued documents.

* In Corfu, a series of catering and leisure businesses were found without the issuance of evidence.

* Finally, in Piraeus, a 20 document was recorded in a restaurant.

In all cases, the AADE auditors have imposed fines and the “padlock” of the business for 48 hours.
