The size of the total building activity (private – public), in June 2025, throughout the country based on the issuing building permits, amounted to 2,566 building permits, corresponding to 593,813 m2 surface and 2,722,600 m3, increased by 6.1%, increased by 6.1% by 6.1%. 17.8% in the surface and an increase of 16.9% in the volume compared to the corresponding month of 2024, according to ELSTAT.

The private building activity issued, throughout the country, in June 2025, amounted to 2,532 building permits, corresponding to 557,848 m2 of the surface and 2,541,385 m3, increasing an increase of 5.9% in the number of building permits, increased by 19.3% by 22% and increased by 22% to 22. Relationship to the corresponding month of 2024.

The licenses issued in Public Building in June 2025, throughout the country, amounted to 34 building permits, corresponding to 35,965 m2 of surfaces and 181,215 m3.

The percentage of participation in public building activity in the total building volume for June 2025 is 6.7%.

During the last twelve months, that is, from July 2024 to June 2025, the magnitude of the total building activity (private-public) based on the issued building permits, throughout the country, amounted to 28,790 building permits, corresponding to 6.435 m254 m254 m254 m2 m3.

Compared to the corresponding period July 2023 – June 2024, a decrease of 3.3% in the number of building permits, a decrease of 6.9% in the surface and a decrease of 6.8% in volume, was reported.

During the same period, July 2024 – June 2025, private building activity shows throughout the country, a 3.6% decrease in the number of building permits issued, a decrease of 7.3% on the surface and a decrease of 6.9% in volume, compared to the corresponding July 2023 – June 2024.

The percentage of participation in public building activity in the total building volume for the above period is 3.1%.

In the six months of January – June 2025, the total building activity has, throughout the country, a 13.8% reduction in the number of building permits, a reduction of 23.9% in the surface and a decrease of 18.3% in volume, compared to the corresponding semester of 2024.

During the same period January – June 2025, private property activity shows throughout the country, a 14.0% reduction in the number of building permits, a reduction of 24.1% in the surface and a decrease of 17.7% in volume, compared to January – June 2024.
