Following the recent approval by the Council of Ministers of Public Sector Recruitment Planning for 2026, the baton passes to ASEPwhich is engaged in a road race to announce the competitions immediately, to accelerate the issuance of the results and to fill the new positions within the new year.
The big challenge is to win the bet of Interior Minister Thodoris Lebanese and the responsible Deputy Minister of Vivi Charalambogiannis and to have a service for the first time in the same year for which the positions were approved. So far the process has been completed at a depth of 2 to 4 years, resulting in significant delays in meeting needs.
And because in the speed races, good start is essential for victory, in this case the announcement of the 43,000 participants in the Panhellenic (and for the first time digital) written summer competition just 10 days after its completion creates well -founded hopes.
It is recalled that the tank of this tender will be filled with the administrative positions of IP and TE (AEI and TEI graduates respectively) of 2026 and 2027. That is, from a total of 19,489 recruitment of regular staff approved by the Council of Ministers for 2016, military etc.).
The aim is to have all the competitions have been announced by December to begin hiring new executives from the first months of next year. The ASEP is also foreseen to accelerate the procedures with 30 new positions. Reportedly, there are notices for 1,500 posts in public bodies by the candidate tank of the written competition (1c/2025).
ASEP President Thanos Papaioannou told the Athenian -Macedonian News Agency that the Independent Authority is taking advantage of the innovations of the Panhellenic Written Competition held exclusively electronically “and with great organizational success”, Modern ways of evaluating candidates.

Recruitment per body will be made in order of priority based on the exam rating, which will count additional qualifications (postgraduate, foreign languages, etc.), locality, which is now increased for candidates for vulnerable areas (provided that at least 15).
Secondary Education and Compulsory Education (HR) candidates are known to be recruited through priority notices, based on predetermined criteria.
The new notices
The priorities of the Ministry of the Interior and ASEP are still the absorption of the successful candidates of the first Pan -Hellenic Writing Competition in 2023. This tank will cover 127 posts of the 4GB/2025 notice in the process of processing and relating to the IP and TEA categories.
At the same time, ASEP announcements are found in the process of filling in a series of 3,811 positions to the Ministry of Health bodies in particular:
* Five hundred (510) positions of IP and HR categories of various branches/specialties.
* Thousands of seven hundred (1,701) positions of TE and no different sectors/specialties.
* Thousands of six hundred (1,600) positions of the IP, TE, and Nursing categories.
The notices are also being prepared to fill in a series of priority of 25 posts with a private -law employment relationship of indefinite TE and ERT categories and 43 posts in the Civil Aviation Authority.
In addition, for the written electronic examination of the 2C/2025 notice for 145 Consular Consular Posts at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the procedure is in the process of checking the record of the 2,805 candidates who have been involved and will be followed by the preparation and organization of the examination.
In the coming months and by the end of the year, the issuance of definitive results for the notices is scheduled:
* 6K/2024 for 887 IP class positions, in various public bodies with a disability of at least 50%.
* 7K/2024 which concerns 1,113 HR category positions in public bodies.
* 1K/2024 to fill 1,213 posts of permanent staff, technology and secondary education in the Municipal Police.
* 1GB/2025 to fill 2,084 posts of permanent staff and staff with a private law of indefinite period of the category of various disciplines/specialties to public bodies by successful candidates of the first Pan -Hellenic Written Competition and by participants in the Written Electronic Examination of 1C/20
Regarding the issuance of temporary results the notices are scheduled by the end of the year:
* 2GB/2025 for 4,276 positions of IPs of various disciplines/specialties in public bodies by successful candidates of the first Panhellenic Written Competition.
* 8K/2024 for 2,217 category positions in public bodies.
* 1K/2025, gradual issuance of results for 314 positions of IP, TE, IT, HR in the Physical Environment and Climate Change (OIPEKA).
* 2K/2025 for 162 IP positions, TEs and and at the Hellenic Open University.
* 4EA/2025 rating tables relating to the ranking process with a series of priority, industry and specialty, candidate for primary and secondary special education and education (UAE).
