The stock prices of the shares are upward, in the aftermath of yesterday’s upgrade of ATHEX. In developed markets by FTSE Russell, with the market returning above 2,080 points, amid mild upward movement of the largest European markets. The focus of investment interest were found bank shares.

The General Price Index closed at 2,083.59 points, up 0.68%. Intra -conference approached 2,100 points, recording a higher price to 2,098.36 points (+1.39%), then to lower to lower levels.

The value of the transactions amounted to EUR 239.16 million, with 43,738,317 shares.

The high capitalization index increased by 0.72%, while the mid -capitalization index rose 0.46%.

Of the high -capitalization shares, the shares of National (+2.59%), Eurobank (+1.86%), Piraeus (+1.75%), PPA (+1.73%), Alpha Bank (+1.61%) and Optima Bank (+1.49%) recorded the highest.

On the other hand, the biggest decline was the shares of Jumbo (-2.83%), Aktor (-2.49%), EYDAP (-1.85%), Motor Oil (-1.76%), AIA (-1.25%) and Cyprus (-1.01%).

The largest volume of transactions were presented by Eurobank and Intralot with 10,179,455 and 8,732,656 shares, respectively.

Eurobank recorded the highest value of transactions with € 36.37 million and Alpha Bank with € 31.35 million.

66 shares were up, 47 and 11 remained stable.

The shares rose the most: Ilias (+14.19%) and Progressive (+8.05%).

The biggest decline was recorded by Jirakian (-6.44%) and EYATH (-4.27%).
