The General Index of the Athens Stock Exchange closed today with 0.69% to 2,098.05. The rise, though moderate, reflects the positive climate on the market, as buyers prevail against sellers.

According to technical analysis, the market is now moving not far from the high of the current period, which estimates analysts suggests that there is limited space for further rise, without new positive events.

The driving force for the market and today were bank stocks, with the bank index closing at 2,456,640 points.

EUROBANK’s share of EUR 3.601, Alpha by 1.06% to EUR 3.380, by 0.56%, raised Piraeus to EUR 7,586 to EUR 13,865 with 1.58% and high turnover to 45.7 million euros (approximately 3.3 million in -heads). Bank

The index stood out the Cenergy stock, which closed 2.43% to € 13,480, with a rise of 2.39% to 14,540 euros, Motor Oil at 26,260 (+2.02%) and GEK TERNA, which closed at 22,940 euros raised by 1.87%. On the contrary, TITAN’s share was down, which closed at 36.8 euros (-1.08%).

Intralot’s stock gathered significant volume after entering the company’s new shares, which resulted from the completion of the capital increase, which closed to + 0.86% (EUR 1,170).

Market capitalization reached 141,532 billion today. Euro and the value of the transactions reached 217,866 million euros, of the Oppo of € 24.1 million concerned the transactions through 34 packages that were transported today.
