Today… it pays, with the first batch of pensioners waiting to see money in their bank accounts: November pensions will start flowing into the accounts of beneficiaries from this afternoon and those with a debit card will be able to withdraw from ATMs. Before the October 28 parade the second “batch” of beneficiaries will also be paid, who in turn will be able to go through the Banks’ machines on Monday afternoon.

Then follow the payments for those who receive OPECA benefits, while there will be another payment in the first days of November of amounts even reaching 500 euros to pensioners over 65 years old.

Starting with the regular pension payments, especially those in the month of November, they will be paid as mentioned before … the parade.

Pension payment dates

Specifically:

On Monday, October 27, 2025, the main pensions will be paid from the former Non-Employed OAEE, OGA and ETAA funds, the main pensions awarded from the establishment of the EFKA and after, with Law 4387/2016, through the OPS-EFKA (retired Employees & Non-Employed from 1.1.2017 onwards) and all the auxiliaries private sector pensions (Non-Employed and Employed).

On Wednesday, October 29, 2025, the main pensions of the former Employee Funds will be paid [ΙΚΑ-ΕΤΑΜ, τραπεζών, ΟΤΕ, ΔΕΗ, ΛΟΙΠΩΝ ΕΝΤΑΣΣΟΜΕΝΩΝ (ΤΣΕΑΠΓΣΟ, ΤΣΠ-ΗΣΑΠ), ΝΑΤ, ΕΤΑΤ και ΕΤΑΠ-ΜΜΕ] as well as the main and auxiliary pensions of the State.

This practically means that the money will be available one working day before the aforementioned dates in the bank accounts of the beneficiaries, i.e. on October 24 and October 27, respectively, in other words… before the parade.

When will OPECA benefits be paid?

OPECA will pay the pensions of Uninsured Seniors on Thursday, October 30. The crediting of these amounts will take place on the evening of Wednesday the 29th of the month.

On the same date, all the other benefits of the Organization will be paid, i.e. the welfare-disability benefits, the maternity benefit, the rent benefit, but also the Minimum Guaranteed Income and others.

When will the payment of 250 – 500 euros be made?

Here it should be noted that after the pensions have been paid and before two weeks have passed we will also have new payments: The annual allowance of 250-500 euros for vulnerable pensioners and disability beneficiaries is scheduled to be paid earlier than November 15 to the beneficiaries. The original plan called for the payment to be made at the end of November.

The amount of the aid is 250 euros for individual beneficiaries and 500 euros for couples.

Payment will be made without application or other action by the pensioners concerned.

The mentioned annual financial support of 250 euros net – on a permanent basis – has been established for pensioners, beneficiaries of disability allowances and uninsured elderly. It will be paid by November 30 of each year, starting from November 2025.
