Through vouchers.gov.gr, citizens can from today submit applications for the “North Evia Pass 2025». This is an important Action that is being implemented for the third year. With a total budget 1 million euros, aims at the financial support of tourist activity in the areas of Northern Evia, affected by the fires of August 2021.

The Action is implemented within the framework of the cooperation of the Ministries of National Economy and Finance, Interior, Tourism, Digital Governance and Climate Crisis and Civil Protection.

The Program concerns two destinations: a) Municipality of Istiaia – Edipsos, b) Municipality of Mantoudi – Limni – Agia Anna, as well as two calendar phases: a) Phase 1 – November 2025, b) Phase 2 – September-October-November 2026.

Beneficiaries amount to 5,566 and will publish intangible digital debit cardin order to visit the aforementioned areas, stimulating local tourism and wider economic activity. Citizens will be able to use the immaterial digital debit card until the last day of the selected phase, for accommodation, catering and local transport costs.

In particular, the following will be issued:

  • 2,783 cards of 150 euros for the Municipality of Mantoudi – Limni – Agia Anna (Phase 1: 1,392, Phase 2: 1,391) and
  • 2,783 cards of 150 euros for the Municipality of Istiaia – Edipsos (Phase 1: 1,392, Phase 2: 1,391)

The vouchers.gov.gr platform will remain open for the submission of applications from today, Friday, October 24, 2025, until Wednesday, October 29, 2025. Those interested can submit an application both digitally and through the 1,027 KEP throughout the country.

More specifically, to submit a digital application, interested parties follow the following steps:

They enter the platform vouchers.gov.gr with their passwords at TaxisNet.

They enter their contact information, i.e. e-mail address and mobile phone number, which they then authenticate via a hyperlink and a one-time password (OTP) respectively. It is noted that since citizens have already registered the relevant information in the National Register of Communications (E.M.Ep. – emep.gov.gr), these are automatically retrieved and they do not need to perform any other certification action.

Immediately after, they declare their destination of choice, as well as the phase or phases they desire.
Finally, they responsibly declare that they do not belong to any of the ineligible categories of beneficiaries under the action and select “Submit”, completing the application submission process.

It is pointed out that the “North Evia Pass 2025” it has no income criteria and all citizens have the right to apply:

  • Are tax residents of Greece, based on the last cleared personal income tax return for the tax year 2024
  • They or their beneficiaries do not have Evia as their main residence, as it appears from the last cleared personal income tax return for the tax year 2024, and
  • Those who have been selected or will be selected for the Social Tourism program (STP) 2024-2025 or 2025-2026, as well as those who receive a similar benefit from any other organization for the same period, are not beneficiaries.

The final beneficiaries will be selected following a draw conducted by the implementing body, once the submission of applications has been completed, while the results will be posted on the program website. The process of issuing the immaterial digital debit card will start within 2 working days for the beneficiaries who will be selected by lottery. After issuance, the Payment Service Provider will inform the beneficiaries about the steps to follow to activate the card. The use of the immaterial digital debit card requires a suitable smartphone that supports NFC technology – contactless transactions.

“North Evia Pass 2025” is implemented by the National Technology and Research Infrastructure Network (EDYTE S.A. – GRNET), a body of the Ministry of Digital Governance and is financed by the Ministry of Digital Governance. The necessary data is drawn automatically, through the Interoperability Center of the General Secretariat of Information Systems and Digital Governance of the Ministry of Digital Governance.
