“We said it and we did it. As of today, the 2nd Invitation for the vouchers preschools, an important reform that strengthens families and expands access to early childhood care.

By increasing the income criteria and removing the ceiling for large families, we enable even more children to join nurseries. The income criteria have never been so high – we now also cover middle-income families, who for the first time gain access to the program”, emphasized the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family Domna Michailidou.

This initiative is a continuation of the commitment of the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family to practically support parents and invest in the beginning of children’s lives, when the foundations for development, equality and social cohesion are formed.

The online submission of applications for the participation of those interested in the 2nd Call of the Action Program “Promotion and support of children for their inclusion in pre-school education, as well as for the access of school-age children, teenagers and persons with disabilities to creative employment services” for the period 2025-2026 begins today, Thursday 30 October 2025, and ends on Friday 7 November 2025.

With the Amendment no. 134947 / 29.7.2025 of the Joint Ministerial Decision, published on Wednesday 22 October 2025 (KYA 15670 / 22.10.2025), provides for the filling of places in nurseries with increased income limits.

Specifically, the new expanded income limits are structured as follows:

  • For families with up to 2 children: from €33,000 to €35,000
  • For families with three children: from €36,000 to €38,000
  • For families with 4 children: from €39,000 to €41,000
  • For families with 5 children: from €42,000 to €44,000

At the same time, for families with many children, the upper ceiling is abolished and the income limits are progressively increased:

  • With 6 children: from €42,000 to €47,000
  • With 7 children: from €42,000 to €50,000
  • With 8 children: from €42,000 to €53,000
  • With 9 children: from €42,000 to €56,000
  • With 10 children: from €42,000 to €59,000

These amounts are calculated after taking into account the double increase — the increase of €2,000 for up to five children and the final amount of €44,000, which is increased by €3,000 for each additional child of six and over.

The Second Call, co-financed by the European Social Fund and supported by increased national resources from the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family, enables even more parents to secure a place for their children in nurseries, effectively expanding access to pre-school care.

Applications and supporting documents for participation are submitted electronically through the special application on the website of EETAA S.A. (www.eetaa.gr) from today 30/10/2025 to 07/11/2025.
