Fiesp’s creative economy board, which held its first meeting this week under the command of presenter Luciano Huck and has names such as KondZilla and Antonio Fagundes, should welcome new members to attract more diversity, according to Preto Zezé, president of Cufa (Central Única das Favelas), which is also part of the collegiate.
“He joined Preto Zezé, from Cufa, and Fábio Coelho, from Google. He joined KondZilla [produtor artístico] and Alexandre Birman, from Arezzo. Joined Adriana Barbosa [Feira Preta] with Elisabetta Zenatti, from Netflix. It was a potent environment from the point of view of differentiated competences”, she says.
Among the members of the group assembled by the presenter in the new management of Fiesp are also Paulo Hartung (former governor of Espírito Santo) and Elizabeth Machado (Museum of Modern Art of São Paulo), who are vice-presidents of the council.
“Usually, these councils are formed by people who are politically aligned, who have a field identification. Not then. They are diverse people with a common agenda, which is to work on the creative economy”, says Preto Zezé.
According to him, other names from academia, LGBTQI+ and games should be invited to join the team, which discusses the expansion of Sesi’s reach.
The new formation of the council was indicated after the entry of Josué Gomes da Silva, who replaced Paulo Skaf in the presidency of Fiesp this year. He changed almost all the superior boards taking names like former president Michel Temer and Luciano Coutinho, former president of BNDES. Among other changes that Josué took to the entity, he adopted a more critical tone of the Bolsonaro government.
After the meeting, Huck said on social media that he likes bridges and unlikely connections.
