Panel SA: Member of Fiesp who supported Comgás renewal thanks the company and bothers opponents

Carlos Cavalcanti, vice president of Fiesp, went to social networks to publish a message of thanks to Comgás this Sunday (14).

“Congratulations and thank you Comgás”, the industry representative wrote on Instagram in the caption of a photo in which he showed that he had gone to the Interlagos racetrack, at the company’s invitation.

But the kindness bothered other leaders of industrial organizations because in recent months Cavalcanti has been a strong spokesman in defense of a battle won by Comgás in October.

He publicly supported and argued in favor of the early renewal of the piped gas service concession for Comgás in São Paulo for another 20 years.

Although it had the support of Fiesp through Cavalcanti, more than 20 other associations from industrial sectors, such as chemicals, toys and textiles, opposed the extension.

Sought by Panel SA, Comgás said it will not comment on the matter. Fiesp and Cavalcanti did not respond.
