by

In the first quarter of this year, vehicle manufacturers issued 15 recall calls, shows a survey of the Papa Recall application, which alerts car owners when there is a need to schedule the replacement of a part or component.

According to the company’s monitoring, the 15 recalls announced between January and March represent a 25% drop compared to the same period last year. In 2022, ten automakers had to call their customers to fix faults considered dangerous.

The first-quarter recalls were used, according to the Papa Recall survey, mainly to replace airbags, but also included errors in fuel systems, high-voltage batteries, injectors and parking sensors.
