Online retail giant Amazon announced this Tuesday (16) that it will replace part of its plastic packaging with paper or cardboard by the end of the year in France.
Plastic bags, used to transport small packages such as books, will be eliminated. The company will adopt paper bags and envelopes for this type of order in the country.
According to Amazon, the measure applies only to products sold directly by the company, it does not cover orders from third-party marketplaces on the site.
