The software company P&I AG continues to invest in Greece

by

The German multinational, which specializes in the development of human resource management software, entered Greece in 2017 with the creation of the subsidiary P&I Hellas and its Innovation Center in the Technology Park of Ioannina.

P&I’s main business, which spans more than 50 years, is the development of innovative software applications, used by more than 15,000 customers across Europe. P&I’s innovative software platform offers unique and revolutionary solutions to modern human resource management processes.

The reason that Ioannina was chosen by P&I for its innovation center is the advantageous position of the city in combination with the educational level of the staff. Ioannina has a local ecosystem that favors innovation, as well as a high level of academic institutions and trained human resources.

P&I’s investment plan in Greece envisages staff recruitment and is being implemented steadily despite the challenges of the last two years, being a significant accelerator of the local and consequently of the Greek economy.

As stated by the CEO of P&I AG Mr. Triadis Vassilios, “The company came to Ioannina to offer. We want to leave a strong imprint on the local community, on the universities, on our human resources and to contribute to the overall development of the place. A big priority for us is to further develop our activity in Ioannina and at the same time to help financially in the development of the universities of Epirus. In 3 to 4 years we can talk about the elite of universities that will produce much more and better qualified graduates “.

To date, P&I Hellas has created jobs for more than 200 highly trained IT scientists, looking forward to even further development and putting a “brake” on the phenomenon of “brain drain” that is observed in recent years in our country.
