INSS pays 13th to 31 million from Monday; see calendar

The advance of the first installment of the 13th installment of the INSS (National Social Security Institute) will begin to be paid next Monday (25) to 31.6 million insured persons. The money will fall into the account along with the monthly benefit.

Insured people earning up to one minimum wage (R$ 1,212) receive first, according to the final benefit number, without considering the check digit. Afterwards, the payment is made to those who receive amounts above the national floor.

According to the institute, more than R$ 56.7 billion will be injected into the economy: R$ 28.3 billion referring to the advance of the first installment of the 13th, to be paid in April. And another R$ 28.3 billion in the second installment, which will be released in May, received between the end of May and the beginning of June.

They are entitled to the 13th retirees, pensioners and workers with sick pay and accident pay. Insureds who have BPC (Continued Benefit Benefit) and lifetime monthly income do not receive the Christmas bonus.

The consultation of the exact value of the 13th of the INSS can now be made by the beneficiary through the My INSS app or website. For those who were already retired in January 2022, the first installment corresponds to half of the benefit amount. The second installment has an income tax discount for those who are obliged to pay.

HOW TO MAKE THE CONSULTATION?

To find out how much you will receive from the 13th, of monthly benefit and check on which exact day the money will fall into the account, the retiree needs to have a password to access My INSS.

In a note, the institute reported that “the payment statement for the 13th and the benefit is now available to all policyholders as the sheet has already been generated and the amounts made available”. According to the agency, it is still not possible to see the amount provisioned in the bank account.

2. On the home page, go to “Entrar com gov.br”
3. Then, enter the CPF and click “Continue”
4. On the next page, enter the password and click “Login”
5. On the home page, click on “Payment Statement”
6. Two amounts will appear: those that were paid in March, whose status will be as “Paid”, and those that will be paid in April

Law defined anticipation

Anticipation has always been a claim by retirees, which has meant that, since 2006, the release of the first installment has taken place in the first semester, always by means of a presidential decree. Lula, Dilma, Temer and Bolsonaro signed decrees with the advance.

In 2019, however, the law that regulated the pension reform guaranteed the anticipation of the first installment of the benefit always in June without the need for a decree. The second quota, however, would continue to be paid in the second half of the year, together with the November benefit.

But in 2020 and 2021, the pandemic led to payment still in the first half. Last year, the 13th was paid to 30.7 million beneficiaries, injecting R$ 23.7 billion into the economy in each payment batch.
