Vouchers.gov.gr is addressed to more than 3 million beneficiaries and concerns aid for the cost of consuming motor fuel for months April, May and June 2022. The amount of aid ranges from 30 to 50 euros and depends on vehicle type and the main residence of the beneficiary. The total budget of the action amounts to 130 million euros, from appropriations provided by the General State Expenditure of the Ministry of Finance. The platform was implemented by the Information Society (IAS MAE), a supervised body of the Ministry of Digital Government, in collaboration with the General Secretariat for Information Systems of Public Administration and the Independent Public Revenue Authority (AADE).
Beneficiaries of the Fuel Pass are all tax residents of Greece with declared family income for the tax year 2020 up to thirty thousand (30,000) euros. Any natural person can state only one car or motorcycle – moped, provided that the means of transport in question is in circulation, is insured and is not due to traffic taxes. The natural person must have at least a percentage of co-ownership of the vehicle, or this must be leased.

The operation of the platform is very simple. The citizen enters the Fuel Pass using Taxisnet codes either directly through vouchers.gov.gr, or from gov.gr, in the section “Citizen and Everyday” and the subsection “Transportation”. At the same time, there is the possibility of submitting the application through KEP. All the data of the citizen are pumped automatically, through the Interoperability Center of the General Secretariat of Information Systems of Public Administration. How do I issue a Fuel Pass?
The beneficiaries of the program submit their application electronically at the following link, using the credential codes of the General Secretariat of Information Systems of Public Administration (Taxisnet). The applicant completes and updates his / her contact details and, in particular, his / her e-mail address and mobile phone number. If the “Deposit to a bank account” is selected as the method of granting, the completion of the IBAN of the personal bank account or account of which the beneficiary is a co-beneficiary is also required. The applications of natural persons in the special application are made in parts depending on the expiring number of their VAT number.
Beneficiaries can also submit their application from the local Citizens’ Service Centers (KEP).
How is the amount paid?
The amount is paid in two ways:

What is the amount of aid?
The amount of aid is determined based on article 81 of law 4916/2022. In particular, for the months of April, May and June 2022, the credit amounts to the following amounts:
● Fifty (50) euros for eligible owners of vehicles other than motorcycles-mopeds, with main residence in the Regions of North Aegean, South Aegean, Ionian Islands, Crete, in the Peripheral Unit of Islands of the Region of Attica, in the Region of Peripheral E Thassos, of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, in the Island of Samothrace of the Regional Unit of Evros, of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and in the Island of Ammouliani of the Regional Unit of Halkidiki, of the Region of Central Macedonia,
● Forty (40) euros for eligible owners of vehicles other than mopeds, with main residence in the rest of Greece,

. Thirty (30) euros for eligible owners of mopeds, with main residence in the rest of Greece.
For the beneficiaries who choose to use a digital debit card, the amount of the above financial aid is increased by five (5) euros.
When is the aid deposited?
The credit of the aid, either to the intangible digital card, or to the selected bank account, is made within two (2) working days from the date of approval of the beneficiary’s application.
Where and how do I use it?
The intangible digital card is used (via the smartphone on which it will be installed) at all gas stations in the country, via POS, like any card. The amount deposited in a bank account is used through debit cards linked to the account or by cash withdrawal.
You will need to use your available balance until 31/07/2022. Please note that Fuel Pass does not support withdrawals or transactions with foreign traders.
I am a businessman-gas station owner. How does the Fuel Pass work for my business and when will I receive the money?
The use of the intangible Fuel Pass card is identical to any other card used via POS.
