Panel SA: Cleaning product brand creates LinkedIn profile for domestic worker

The brand of cleaning products Veja, from manufacturer Reckitt, created a LinkedIn profile for Luiza Batista, general coordinator of Fenatrad (National Federation of Domestic Workers), to celebrate the day that honors the category, this Wednesday (27).

In partnership with the company, Batista will publish content on the platform about the profession and efforts for the rights of professionals.

According to Reckitt, the action aims to raise awareness and insert a black and northeastern woman, who has been fighting for years to guarantee the rights of other colleagues, in a virtual space dominated by men.

Among the contents raised by the cleaning products brand, a survey carried out last year in partnership with the research company Plano CDE shows that more than 70% of domestic workers feel inferior in the workplace. The study also shows that 63% of monthly workers do not receive 13th or vacation.
