Unimaginable theft – Strangers stole the entire booth of Child Smile

How can one steal an entire kibo, measuring 6 x 2.5 m, from the heart of the center of Thessaloniki without anyone noticing?

The unprecedented and embarrassing theft concerns the “kiosk” he had set up for the days of Easter on the pedestrian street of Hagia Sophia at the junction with Ermou Street, the Smile of the Child, whose representatives were surprised to find that the large structure had disappeared from the space where it was located without any trace.

As stated in GRTimes the Ioanna Makri, coordinator for Northern Greece in Child Smile, at the end of the holidays, the members of the organization had emptied the kiosk last night in order for it to be removed from the place and stored today. For this reason, in fact, they had contacted the municipality of Thessaloniki, which granted the space, as it has been doing in recent years, to inform them about the required actions.

Today, however, they found out that the kiosk – which is sponsored by a company – had disappeared and since then they have engaged in a contact match to find out if the theft is a misunderstanding.

Unfortunately, from the communications that the representatives of the Child’s Smile have had so far, no mistake has emerged and as everything shows, this is an unprecedented theft for which an official complaint was made a while ago, at the AT Lefkou Pyrgos.

Ms. Makri appeals to anyone who saw something or has any information about the fate of the kiosk to inform either the authorities or the Child’s Smile.
