The uphill has been taken again by fuel prices in the market, with petrol to consistently exceed 2 euros per liter and oil to “flirt” with 1.9 euros per liter.
At his gas station Paleo Faliro SKAI’s camera detected the price of ordinary gasoline at 2.16 and diesel at 1.87. The most expensive price of gasoline in Attica today is 2.33 euros per liter.
In Thessalonikiunleaded ranges from 2,038 to 2,149 euros per liter and oil from 1,759 to 1,928 euros per liter.
Fuel subsidy: How to get Fuel Pass money
Payments at gas stations are proceeding normally with Intangible digital cards Fuel Pass. The electronic platform continues to receive applications from all VAT numbers (regardless of number expiration).
It is reminded that citizens can choose it recovery of the fuel subsidy in a bank account or the creation of an intangible digital card (in which they will be credited with an additional 5 euros) which is used exclusively at gas stations.
As underlined in vouchers.gov.gr, the condition for the use of the card is the use of a smart phone that supports NFC technology, as was done in the freedompass initiative in the summer of 2021.
The application steps
The JMC describes the steps for the credit of the petrol allowance:
1. Through the electronic platform, the beneficiaries apply for the issuance of a digital debit card to which the amount of financial assistance is credited. The digital card is issued by a bank
2. The entry of the beneficiary in the electronic platform through gov.gr is done with the codes taxisnet
3. After entering the application the applicant fills in and updates his contact details and, in particular, the e-mail address (email) and the mobile phone number, and requests the issuance of the digital debit card and the credit of the relevant amount to her.
4. After the completion of the application and if his status as a beneficiary is verified, the Information Society sends an approval decision to the bank and immediately transfers the amount of money corresponding to the beneficiary.
5. The bank then informs the beneficiary about the procedure to be followed for the activation of the card and the credit of the amount of money, sending: a) a text message (sms) to the mobile phone number declared by the beneficiary in the special application, with integrated instructions and b) e-mail to the e-mail address stated by the beneficiary in the special application with a built-in link to activate the digital debit card. After entering the above link, the beneficiary creates a personal password and receives a confirmation code, with a new text message (sms), in order to activate his digital debit card.
6. The amount credited to the debit card can be used exclusively by the beneficiary for the purchase of fuel and it is not possible to transfer to a third party, except the above or to withdraw it.
