President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) appointed Adolfo Sachsida as the new Minister of Mines and Energy, replacing Bento Albuquerque, who was dismissed at the request, according to the edition of the Official Gazette of the Union this Wednesday (11).
The exchange takes place days after Petrobras announced a new adjustment in the price of diesel. Before becoming MME minister, Sachsida was one of the main assistants to the Minister of Economy, Paulo Guedes, and has participated in economic discussions since the transition team.
