According to forecasts circulating in the Ministry of Infrastructure, the project for the concession of the port of Itajaí (SC) should be sent to the Federal Audit Court in June.
The contributions presented to the project are in the final phase of analysis and under discussion between Antaq (National Agency for Waterway Transport) and the federal government.
Another project expected on the market, the port of São Sebastião, should go to court before the end of this month.
In the case of privatization of the port of Santos, almost 600 manifestations were received in the public consultation and the analysis of the contributions is in the final stage of elaboration and proposal.
The Ministries of Infrastructure and Economy are discussing with the SPPI (Secretariat of the Investment Partnerships Program) the general rules of the port concession model. The official forecast is that it will be sent to the TCU by July.
Depending on the scenario in the court of accounts, the market and the government expect a busy second semester with a forecast of 14 auctions for leases of terminals, concessions and privatization of ports. According to the ministry, the projects are advancing in the schedule, which provides for auctions in the fourth quarter.
