Carrefour: The first five stores in Greece are operational – Target 25 in 2022

THE Carrefour officially started its activity in Greece, with the opening of top five stores which have been in operation since April.

The first phase of the development of the Carrefour branch network, is done with the method of the franchise and envisages the opening of branches in the region, with emphasis on the tourist areas, having already inaugurated two stores in Zakynthos and three stores in Halkidikiwhile the creation of seven more stores has been launched in the immediate future, in areas with intense tourist traffic, such as Santorini.

According to a relevant announcement, the development plan of the network in the region, the first corporate store in Athens is under constructionwhich will be operational by next September, marking the expansion of Carrefour’s network of urban centers.

Aiming to create 25 stores in total for 2022Carrefour store network will include 5 different types, depending on the data and the special conditions of each local market, including Carrefour Flash 10/10, the most innovative type of store that will be launched for the first time in Greece.

The Carrefour Flash 10/10is a type of fully automated, small area stores, which Carrefour creates within urban centers, with the main feature of the lack of cash registers and the possibility given to the customer to be served quickly, following the philosophy 10/10, “10 seconds to shop and 10 seconds to pay “.

Flash 10/10 offers a seamless shopping experience, with no waiting, with customers entering and leaving the store without having to go through a portal and using the cash register.

In addition to the innovative Carrefour Flash 10/10, the company launches four more, basic types of stores, the Carrefour Market, larger stores in urban centers and the region that offer a wide range of fresh and local products, the Carrefour Bio, which offer 100% organic and ecological products , τα Carrefour Expressin the nature of convenience stores which will be located in neighborhoods but also in city centers and SUPECO, which are parking discount stores, a type of store that provides a selected range of products that meet all the needs of consumers at the best market prices, which will be created at the entrances of large urban centers.
