The cost of the measures is 338.5 million euros announced by the Prime Minister from the floor of Parliament for low-income retirees, health workers and the disabled as aid to the wave of precision that hits the market.
1) In detail, the health workers of the hospitals, the health centers and EKAB will be given an allowance equal to half of the paid monthly basic salary with the December payroll. The aid is expected to receive about 100,000 health workers, at a cost of about 90 million euros.
2) Vulnerable retirees will be granted aid to deal with price increases in energy and basic items.
Beneficiaries of the aid of 250 euros plus 50 euros for dependent members are:
• Retirees who have an annual individual taxable income of up to 7,200 euros (600 euros per month) and an annual family taxable income of up to 14,400 euros.
• The total taxable value of the household real estate can not exceed the total amount of 200,000 euros.
The aid will be paid at the end of December and concerns about 800,000 retirees who meet the criteria. The cost of the measure is estimated at 205m euros.
3) As far as people with disabilities are concerned, an aid of 250 euros will be given, to deal with the price increases in energy and basic items.
Beneficiaries are those who receive an OPEC disability allowance, approximately 173,000 people. The aid will be paid at the end of December and the measure is estimated at 43.5 million euros.
