Courtney Love Says Johnny Depp Saved Her From An Overdose And Helped Frances Bean

Since the beginning of the trial between Johnny Depp, 58, and his ex-wife Amber Heard, 36, singer Courtney Love, 57, has shown support for the Hollywood actor. According to her, the artist has already saved her life after an overdose in 1995 at The Viper Room nightclub.

“I really don’t want to make judgments publicly. I just want to say that Johnny gave me CPR in 1995 when I overdosed outside The Viper Room,” she said in a video, reproduced by the website Page Six.

At the time, she was grieving the loss of her husband, Kurt Cobain. She also recalled that the actor wrote a letter to his 13-year-old daughter, Frances Bean, who was dealing with her father’s untimely death and her mother’s addiction. “Johnny, when I was on crack and Frances was having to suffer with all these social workers, he wrote her a four-page letter that she never showed me.”

“So he sent limousines to her school where all the social workers were creeping in, again, unsolicited, so she and all her friends could go to ‘Pirates [do Caribe]'”, continued.

Love also said that the actor helped a lot in the life of his daughter. “I’ve never seen one of those pirate movies, but [Frances] adored them. You know, she told me when she was 13, ‘Mommy, he saved my life.
