Ana Paula Renault, 40, is terrified of the threats she has been suffering daily on social media. The journalist and presenter of the “4TalkCast” podcast decided to denounce the attacks in a video in the early hours of this Friday (27). She even cries in fear and accuses bolsonaristas.
“I receive several death threats, they make montages of my face with a shot in the forehead. The extreme right tries to destroy the reputation of people who are against the government”, explains Ana Paula.
She even reminisced about a recent episode on her podcast, when she got up in the middle of an interview after arguing with a guest. “It all started with him saying that there is no such thing as fatphobia. I wanted to prove by A + B that a Globo journalist had been fired for being overweight. He asked for proof. He said it was a lie, anecdotes, laughed and mocked”, says Ana Paula who called him an ‘extremist’ and ‘bolsonarista’. She reveals that from that episode onwards she had no more peace.
“We can no longer give voice to this type of people and movement, wanting to silence us. You will not silence me. You will not silence me. I am fragile, yes, but I am alive and as long as I am alive I will speak”, he says Is it over there.
Ana Paula also revealed that she has been the victim of several fake news spread by the same group of supporters of Jair Bolsonaro. The comments are about her departure from SBT’s “Fofocalizando” program in early November last year. The dismissal took place on the same day as the death of singer MarÃlia Mendonça. “This problem of mine was negligible in the face of MarÃlia’s tragedy. But it continued to exist”, she highlights, and then adds details of the situation.
“They said that I hit Flor, who was my castmate. Chris Flores had to get in the middle, imagine the scene. That I fought with NÃvea, the makeup artist, I fought with Tati, my costume designer, that I caused pandemonium at SBT and that did not happen”, he concludes.
