With memories of monuments and landmarks of Thessaloniki, but also with a wire miniature of Zongolopoulos Umbrellas, a gift from a street vendor, Hollywood star Andy Garcia will return to the US, who was guided in the city during a break of the movie “The Expendables 4”.
The special tour was organized by the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization, in collaboration with the Region of Central Macedonia. During it, the famous actor, accompanied by his friend Joe Drago and members of the “Consumables” production, visited the castles and the Triangle Tower, the Ancient Agora, the Camara and the Rotunda. When he visited the beach of the city, passers-by recognized him and a street vendor gave him the miniature of the sculpture of Zongolopoulos, made of wire.
In fact, according to a relevant announcement of the Tourism Organization, some of the members of the production revealed that they will return to the city in March for a new film, without revealing more details about the new production. It is reminded that, as APE-MPE has already written, after the Hollywood films “The Enforcer” and “The Expendables 4”, the goal is to shoot at least four more films in Thessaloniki in 2022.
