31 years after its release, AC / DC’s Thunderstruck remains extremely popular as it is often heard in movies, series, commercials but is also a solid soundtrack to the Dallas Cowboys’ entry into the NFL.

The official video of the song was uploaded to youtube in November 2012 and now, nine years later, it has managed to surpass one billion views, a performance that has been achieved by nine other rock and metal bands.

Overall, it is in 12th place in the relevant list that follows, while the next song that will succeed in the coming months is expected to be Evanescence’s Bring me to Life.
