Honored by Madame Tussauds, in New York, with a life-size wax statue, singer Anitta, 29, said she was very proud to be part of the collection that includes statues of other important world figures.
“It’s wonderful to be a part of this project. At first I couldn’t believe that I had been invited to have a wax figure of me, alongside some of the biggest stars in the world. The museum team put a lot of work and dedication into this statue, so I’m dying of pride and very excited for the world to see her”, celebrated Anitta.
The statue of the Brazilian, 1.62 tall, was finally ready after six months. The clothes that wear the project were donated by her. To achieve the best result, the Madame Tussauds team worked together with Anitta and her team of makeup artists and hair stylists to capture her exact measurements, hair color, eye color, tattoos and skin tone.
“Anitta is a global music sensation and we are very excited to host her wax figure at Madame Tussauds New York. Her passionate and loyal fans will now have the chance to interact with her like never before,” commented Tiago Mogadouro, Head of Marketing for museum.
