Luísa Sonza, 23, decided not to remain silent in a new controversy involving Danilo Gentili, 41. The SBT presenter, once again, made acidic comments about the singer. He accused her that she would only be successful because she had a relationship with a famous, Whindersson Nunes, and even said that she earns money by “showing her ass and wiggling”. Luísa spoke at the launch of her fashion collection with Dailus, at São Paulo Fashion Week, on Friday night (3).
“I think that everyone is in their own evolution and evolution is inevitable. At some point, people will have to evolve, open up, see that there is room for everyone. Trying to offend is a kind of retrograde way of living. connect a lot. There are certain things that can’t even reach me, because the person doesn’t even know what they’re talking about”, he fires on the statements made by Gentili during his participation in the Planeta Podcast, with the comedians Oscar Filho and Diogo Portugal on Wednesday, fair (1).
Luísa also classified the presenter’s statements as “ego, ignorance and machismo”. “I think that maybe the ego is something that destroys a lot. It’s not worth having. With humility, we get to much bigger places. What I feel about it is ego, ignorance and machismo. And using machismo to caress the own ego. I hope you take care of yourself, love yourself and understand that things are not like that. For me, it’s okay. I know it has nothing to do with these things”, he adds.
The singer recalled that since the separation from Whindersson Nunes, in April 2020, she has been judged and has never been able to respond. She even remembered the depression she had last year. “I’ve also been through things in my life and I know what they are going through, even though they try to offend me. And now I’m fine and even when I wasn’t, I didn’t get to the point where offend a person. If I already felt bad without offending anyone, imagine who gets to offend? I always thought that was very strong”, he concludes.
Luisa believes she is being persecuted for advocating female empowerment. “I was always persecuted by machismo. Crazy things happened in my life, which made me understand the structural machismo that happens in our society”, she explains.
