Singer Conrado, from the duo with Aleksandro, underwent a new surgery this week and remains in the ICU after the bus accident that left six people dead near the city of Miracatu (SP) in early May.
According to the update released on the duo’s social networks, João Vitor Moreira Soares, the real name of Conrado, underwent a procedure on Wednesday (1st) to graft the wounds on his back. The artist remains hospitalized in the ICU of the Hospital Regional de Registro, in São Paulo.
The musician Júlio Cesar Bigoli Lopes, who traveled with the duo, also remains hospitalized in the hospital’s ICU. Both are lucid and their health is stable and evolving day by day, according to the note.

“João Vitor Moreira Soares and Júlio Cesar Bigoli Lopes are still hospitalized in the ICU of the Regional Registry Hospital, in São Paulo, in a stable condition.
João is recovering from the procedure carried out on Wednesday (01/06) in which a graft was performed on his back injuries. Júlio has not undergone further surgeries in recent days. Both are lucid and evolving day by day.
Today (03.06) the HRR psychologist and Júlio’s wife, Camila Lopes, told the musician about the deaths of friends from the C&A team and cousin, roadie Giovani Gabriel Lopes dos Santos. He cried a lot, and we ask everyone to put him in your prayers so that God can comfort him.
The families and the CeA team ask everyone to remain in prayer for the complete recovery of João and Júlio.
There is still no forecast of discharge in both cases.”
THE ACCIDENT
On the morning of May 7, 2022, the duo’s bus had an accident on the Régis Bittencourt highway, near the city of Miracatu (SP) this Saturday morning (7).
Conrado survived the bus accident that left six dead, including his partner Aleksandro, and eleven injured.
As soon as he was rescued, the singer apparently had minor injuries, but he underwent several tests and needed urgent surgery to control bleeding and surgical correction of a fracture in the pelvis.
The singers and team had left Tijucas do Sul, Paraná, where the duo had performed the night before, and were heading to São Pedro, São Paulo, for another performance that weekend. According to the Federal Highway Police, the left tire blew out and the driver lost control of the vehicle, which ended up overturning in the central median of the lane.
