She revealed how she manages her difficult moments, while explaining what the breathing technique is and how one can apply this method.
O May is the month of awareness for mental health since the 1950s.
A few days ago we may have said goodbye to this month for the year 2022, but what we certainly hold are important attitudes in matters of depression and mental health, from celebrities with great influence.
Among them, the Hailey Bieber, who shared tips on how she manages her own difficult times. Exactly on the last day of the month, on May 31, a video was uploaded on Youtube by the famous model, with her explaining what the breathing technique is and how it helps her.
What do we know about this method?
If you want to apply this method then you will need to inhale and hold your breath for three seconds and then exhale for seven seconds. You should repeat this process several times, until you feel calmer and have clear thinking. THE Hailey Bieber she confessed that this method helped her a lot in times when she felt quite stressed. There is a similar “anti-stress exercise” that includes other inhalation-exhalation times. The seconds depend on the stress levels we feel but also what suits us best.
It is often difficult to even get out of bed
These times it is important to talk and consult someone you know can help you.
This seems to be what Hailey Bieber does.
In her short video, Hailey admits to her followers that she has been visiting a mental health counselor for the past four years, to learn how to manage her stress and difficult days. Specifically, in the video she mentions that it is a place where she feels safe to speak openly about any issue that concerns her, for what she carries in the thoughts of her mind.
She also said that the psychotherapist was a “key” person, who helped her, among other things, to manage situations arising from the pressure she receives and the influence that social media has.
This video was made in collaboration with BetterHelp, an online platform that offers mental health support services.
