Singer Britney Spears, 40, is due to marry this Thursday (9). According to TMZ, the artist will say the long-awaited “yes” to her fiancé Sam Asghari, 28, in an intimate ceremony, with an exclusive party for 100 guests.
Britney would have invited only her brother, Bryan, to the wedding, choosing to leave her father, Jamie Spears, mother, Lynne Spears, and sister, Jamie Lynn, out of the ceremony after the controversies involving family members.
Although the wedding is already close to happening, it is not yet known who will walk the singer down the aisle. In early May, Britney and Sam revealed that they already had a wedding date, but that no one would know.
“Our lives have been a real fairy tale! Happy Mother’s Day to you my future queen! Also, the big day has been set! But no one will know until the day before,” the dancer wrote as the caption of a photo in that Britney shows off her engagement ring.
The couple had been raising suspicions that they had already married, without anyone knowing. Britney even called Asghari “husband” a few times on social media, and fans and netizens suspected that the two had already done the ceremony.
Together for more than four years, the couple got engaged in September last year, just weeks before the end of the guardianship to which the singer was subjected.
